Book of Romans Journal – Day 4

Eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; Romans 2:7

Positive living is when everything around us is out of control, but yet we manage to patiently walk with the word of God, putting God first in everything that we do, trusting the will of God besides hardships, that it will be rewarded because everything is done for him.

To walk in life when there is no reason to continue is the focal point God requires from us the most. The pressing is the dragging of the spirit to stay in line with the will of God. It is the point where many of us would have chosen to submit to the world of “I can”, and if you can’t then what? We then, starts to seek for worldly help that aren’t help at all. What satisfaction do you get running to a person, or taking in things for sanity purpose? Does it cure? Could be, temporarily. But after a while your purpose has again lost its direction.

There is an alternative choice.

What this life do to us is to squeeze out the fear that resides in us when we reached the bottom of what we are able to do. The trembling, panics, worry, anxiety, depression, all those are the results of us being squeezed, and from it we revive our character according to our choices. But when we allow ourselves to be squeezed more, including everything else that we lack, and are no longer capable within our body to function the way it use to do, or wanted to, talk, walk, think, move, until then we rest. Eternal life is not designed for our body. It’s a place for the restful souls.

We don’t have to wait to malfunction. We don’t even have to wait for death to come. We just need to rest this body, stop it from being used wrongfully and let the will of the Lord hold it with care as he dictate to us how to walk happily, abundantly, in this life. True happiness is peaceful.

Isiah 22:22

The key of the house of David
I will lay on his shoulder;
So he shall open, and no one shall shut;
And he shall shut, and no one shall open.

When God closes the door of opportunity, relationships, it is because God is meant to open another door that nobody else can close.
